Happy Valentine’s Day!

Next Monday, February 20^th, the studio is closed.We will still have competition class, but earlier in the day.

JUMP participants are selling Little Caesar’s Pizza for the next 3 weeks! All orders will be due by March 2^nd. If you would like to order, talk to one of the instructors or participants. We will have a list of those selling at the studio.

March 26^thto 30^th:Spring Break – No classes.

Parent Watch Week:April 9^th thru April 13^th.It is very important that parents come to this watch week.We will be handing out costumes and discussing alterations and specific care instructions to everyone.We will be handing out your recital packet and going over all the details of recital and picture day.Recital packets will not be released to a student.This is information you do not want to miss.Even if you have been with Encore for several years!

Picture Day:Saturday, May 12, 2012.The schedule will be included in your recital packet, but we want you to have the date now!

Before and After Class:We, at Encore Dance Academy, are responsible for your child during their class time with us.Parent/Guardians are responsible for their behavior and safety before and afterclass.Siblings must stay with parents and we ask that you pick up after your children.Please bring your child within 10 minutes of their scheduled time and pick them up after their class on time.All students are instructed not to wait outside for their parents after class.Please help us by reinforcing this rule.

We would also like to remind students not to bring their valuables (cell phones, iPods, jewelry, etc.) to the studio.We have phones for calling home if you need to!

• ·Our participants attending the JUMP convention are selling bouquets of a dozen roses and/or See’s Candy to be delivered for Valentines Day!!! If you are interested in purchasing roses for your special someone, or wish to order See’s Candy, we have flyers and order forms at the studio, you can also purchase from one of the participants including all four instructors.The students who are selling are:Alexis Kranovich, Jayci Hill, Joely Hill, Chelsea Baker, Brittany Partee, Chaslynn McAllister, Chanse McAllister, Maggie Peters, Olivia Hanninen, Samantha Sharp, Camryn Maher, Samantha Hunt, Kayleen Creamer, Maddie Grady, and Mackie Grady. All orders must be received by January 30th.On January 31, we will start a Caesar’s pizza fundraiser, watch for details!
  

• ·Due to popular demand, we will be adding two 6-week sessions for the Mini’s (age 3 –kindergarten).The first session runs February 15 – March 21 and the second session will run April 18 – May 23.Wednesdays from 3:30 to 4:30 pm.You can sign up for one or both!Sessions are $60.00 per student.This is a great class to use as an introduction to dance and our studio.Students attending these two sessions will not participate in our recital, but we will have a parent watch for the last class.Please call the studio at 625-2007 to get registered.We will secure your spot once your registration and payment are received.

• ·New!!!Now you can pay Sara for her classes or Encore apparel orders by credit card!Please come in before or after her classes to pay her directly.She is able to take Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover.Sharon, Jayna and Sam are working on getting set up and we will let you know when they are ready.
